Obtaining the "dream"!

DREAMS!

My first dream is become a teacher.

My second dream is to be an entrepeneur.


TOUCHTONES!

• I want to be a teacher because children is one of my passions. I want to help children better themselves in school by taking the time to actually listen to their school related problems and going the extra mile to make sure they understand the material better. I can imagine the feeling of accomplishment recieved when a child has left my class feeling like they have really learned and understood the material taught that day. I want to help children to become more confident with the notion that they can succeed in school and life as long as they never give up.


• Firstly I should explain the type of businesses I want to own. I want my own hair shop and I want to open a children's center. The reason for the hair salon because styling hair is my other passion. Right now i do it for fun, but eventually I want my own salon. The reason for the children's center is because nowadays there are way too many killings among the youth, so children need a "safe haven" after school instead of being on the street. I want to have a place for children (of all ages) to come to after school for misc. things. Children can work on their homework or getting tutoring. The children's center will not be solely dedicated to educational purposes because I believe children should be well-rounded individuals. I want my children's center to be a place where children can explore their talents, i.e. dancing, singing, drawing, palying an instrument, etc.

Over all my touchtone is my passion for helping others.

ROLE MODEL!

I really don't have a specific person that I look up to or I would call my "role model." What inspires me to do better is the criticsm i get that says I can't do something or I won't do something. A few people around me think that I will not succeed because I dont do things their way. The negativity motivates me to besides my own determination.

TARGET!

When I first step into my own classroom on the first day of school, I will officially be a teacher! :) Also when I see my shops name outside a building, I will be a salon owner! :)
